FAQ

Where is my information stored?

CraneNav is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the closest regional node. For New Zealand customers, this is Auckland.

Is it secure?

Yes. The front end that appears on your mobile device is hosted on Azure Static Web Apps and protected with a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate. Each user must log in to access the service.

The back-end database is hosted on an Azure Virtual Machine. Hard drives use Encryption at Rest, and the database itself is encrypted. We only request the minimal data necessary for operation.

How many cranes and permits can I submit?

There is no limit to the number of mobile cranes you can register in CraneNav, nor to the number of permit regions per crane. If you have permits for adjoining regions, you may also submit these to be added.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is per crane and includes permits for one region i.e. Auckland. Additional region permits will incur additional pricing. Pricing is also volume dependant. Contact us for a quote.

Does every user of CraneNav require a personal login?

Absolutely. Each user must have their own login credentials.

How does onboarding work?

Onboarding begins when you sign up your company. A 14-day free trial is included. We provide a template for you to complete with company details and operator email addresses you’d like to add to CraneNav. You will also need to supply crane details and associated permits.

Once received, we send your operators their access and login details via email.

If you wish to continue beyond the trial, subscription payments must begin before the end of the 14-day period. If not, your access will be disabled and your data will be removed from our servers.
